Librarians
Our Librarians play an important role in promoting a love of reading throughout St. Mary Magdalene. They help to look after our classroom libraries and reading areas, ensuring that these spaces remain welcoming, organised and inspiring for all pupils.
Their responsibilities may include:
- Creating attractive book displays and reading areas
- Helping classmates to find and choose books
- Recommending favourite fiction and non-fiction titles
- Suggesting new books for classroom collections
- Organising and caring for books and reading resources
- Ensuring reading areas are kept tidy, welcoming and well organised
Through this role, our Librarians develop leadership, responsibility and communication skills while helping to promote a positive reading culture across the school.
