St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Primary School is a successful and happy parish school, situated in the beautiful coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea. As a Christian community in the Catholic tradition, we will nurture your child and care for them in the spirit of Gospel values through the love and forgiveness of Christ and the teachings of the Church.
Our staff provide an array of different learning opportunities, including visits, visitors, events and activities so that children are inspired to learn and to discover what is important to them as unique individuals. In this calm, yet stimulating learning environment, children feel safe, are valued and can flourish. Our children have positive attitudes to learning, behave well and achieve high standards. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for improving their work and to see setbacks and feedback as opportunities to learn and grow. We build children’s confidence and encourage them to develop self-discipline and perseverance, happy to take risks and step out of their comfort zone. Effort, hard work, trying new things and understanding others are celebrated as part of our belief that we are all lifelong learners.
